Myctophum lychnobium és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Hàbitat
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 0-1.000 m de fondària.[4][6]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba des del Canal de Moçambic fins al Pacífic oriental[7] i el Mar de la Xina Meridional.[8][9][4][10][11][12]
