Coryphaenoides rudis és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.

Hàbitat
És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 600-2380 m de fondària.[5][7]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a les Illes Kermadec, les Filipines,[8] el Mar de Tasmània,[9] l'illa de Socotra i l'Atlàntic tropical i subtropical (incloent-hi el Golf de Mèxic i el Carib).[10][5]
