Morfologia

Depredadors

A Austràlia és depredat per Cyttus traversi, Macruronus novaezelandiae[7] i Helicolenus percoides.[8]

Hàbitat

És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 200-1463 m de fondària,[9] tot i que, normalment, ho fan entre 400-800.[5]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al sud d'Austràlia,[10][11][12][13] Nova Zelanda[14][15] i Xile.[16][5]
