Descripció
- Fa 6 cm de llargària màxima.[6][7]
Hàbitat
És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical (27°N-26°S) que viu fins als 18 m de fondària.[6]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba des del mar Roig i l'Àfrica oriental fins a les illes de la Societat, Taiwan i Queensland (Austràlia).[6][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23]
Costums
És nocturn.[6]
Observacions
És verinós per als humans.[6][24]
