Ranzania laevis (Dwarf Sunfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family molas. They are solitary carnivores. Individuals can grow to 100 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous. They rely on anal and dorsal fin swimming to move around.
