Scobinichthys granulatus és una espècie de peix de la família dels monacàntids i de l'ordre dels tetraodontiformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 30 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí, de clima temperat i associat als esculls de corall.^[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al sud d'Austràlia: des del sud d'Austràlia Occidental fins a Nova Gal·les del Sud i Tasmània.^[4][6]

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans.^[4]

Scobinichthys granulatus also known as the rough leatherjackets is a species of filefish native to the coastal waters of southern Australia. It lives on rocky reefs and in beds of seagrass. This species grows to a length of 30 centimetres (12 in) TL. It is the only known member of the monotypic genus Scobinichthys.^[1]

Scobinichthys granulatus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de vijlvissen (Monacanthidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1790 door White.

澳大利亞瓣棘單棘魨，為輻鰭魚綱魨形目鱗魨亞目單棘魨科的其中一種，為溫帶海水魚，東印度洋的澳洲南部及塔斯馬尼亞島海域，棲息深度2-15公尺，體長可達30公分，棲息在海草床及岩礁區，生活習性不明。
