Sphoeroides spengleri (Bandtail Puffer) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family puffers. Individuals can grow to 30 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous. They rely on anal and dorsal fin swimming to move around.
