Synchiropus splendidus (Mandarinfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family dragonets. They are native to Pacific Ocean, Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), and Asia. They are solitary, diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 7 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on swimming to move around.
