Foetorepus phasis és una espècie de peix de la família dels cal·lionímids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.^[3]

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 13 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 160-200 m de fondària.^[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al sud d'Austràlia (des d'Austràlia Occidental fins a Nova Gal·les del Sud i Tasmània) i Nova Zelanda.^[6][4][7]

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans.^[4]

The bight stinkfish, Foetorepus phasis, is a dragonet of the family Callionymidae, found in the eastern Indian and southwest Pacific Oceans, at depths of between 160 and 200 m. Length is up to 13 cm.
