Pseudoscopelus sagamianus és una espècie de peix de la família dels quiasmodòntids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.[6]
Descripció
Fa 21,5 cm de llargària màxima.[7][8]
Alimentació
El seu nivell tròfic és de 3.[9]
Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica
És un peix marí i batipelàgic (entre 200 i 1.700 m de fondària),[10] el qual viu a la conca Indo-Pacífica[11] (entre 35°N-40°S i 114°E-132°W):[12] des del Japó[13][14][15][16][17] fins a Indonèsia[12][18] i Nova Zelanda.[19][12][20][21][22][4][8][23]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans[8] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és de baix a moderat (33 de 100).[24]
