體形小,圓柱狀。上頜向後延伸至瞳孔前緣下方;雄魚吻部長於雌魚;齒小,上下頜具椎形齒;鋤骨及腭骨前端具齒群。眼眶上緣觸角寬大不分叉。鼻瓣膜細長不分叉。頤部感覺孔 4 + 1 + 4。頭部、腹部、胸部及胸鰭基部無鱗。體櫛鱗。側線不連續,分為前後二段,前段側線為孔鱗15-16個,孔鱗側線從胸鰭基後方即稍下降,末端位於第二背鰭2/3處下方;後段側線具1列缺刻鱗16-18個,末端止於尾柄。側線上鱗列 3-4 + 1 + 3-5。D. III+XII-XIII+8-10; A. Enneapterygius cheni

Enneapterygius cheni is a species of threefin blenny in the genus Enneapterygius.[2] It was described by S.C. Wang, K.T. Shao, and S.C. Shen in 1996.[3] It is a subtropical blenny found in the northwestern Pacific Ocean, and swims at depths ranging from 0–12 metres. It has been described from Taiwan and the Ryukyu Islands.[2] Male E. cheni can reach a maximum length of 2.4 centimetres.[2] The specific name honours the person who collected the type, Jeng-Ping Chen of the Taiwan Ocean Research Institute.[4]
