The browncheek blenny (Acanthemblemaria crockeri) is a species of chaenopsid blenny found in coral reefs in the Gulf of California, in the eastern central Pacific ocean. It can reach a maximum length of 6 cm (2.4 in) TL. This species feeds primarily on zooplankton.[2] The identity of the person honoured in the specific name of this specie was not specified but it is thought to be the explorer and philanthropist Charles Templeton Crocker (1884-1948).[3]

Acanthemblemaria crockeri is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van snoekslijmvissen (Chaenopsidae).[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1938 door Beebe & Tee-Van.
De soort staat op de Rode Lijst van de IUCN als niet bedreigd, beoordelingsjaar 2007.[1]
