Thunnus thynnus (Atlantic Bluefin Tuna) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family mackerels. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC. They are native to Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 458 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous. They rely on swimming and thunniform to move around.
