Lutjanus kasmira (Bluestripe Snapper) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family snappers. They are native to Kiribati, Cook Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Tokelau, Saudi Arabia, Vanuatu, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Seychelles, South Africa, East Timor, Kenya, American Samoa, Jordan, Sudan, China, Oman, Australia, Yemen, Bangladesh, Norfolk Island, French Polynesia, Tanzania, Nauru, Brunei, Réunion, Samoa, India, US Minor Outlying Islands, Tuvalu, Marshall Islands, Guam, Solomon Islands, Eritrea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Djibouti, The Philippines, Comoros, Tonga, Niue, Mozambique, Japan, Thailand, Somalia, Mauritius, Singapore, Christmas Island, Palau, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Maldives, Wallis Et Futuna Islands, British Indian Ocean Territory, and Fiji. Individuals can grow to 40 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
