Test discoidal to ovate in outline, lenticular in section, chambers one-half coil in length, early chamber arrangement quinqueloculine in the microspheric generation, then cryptoquinqueloculine, and finally biloculine, megalospheric generation biloculine throughout, chambers wide, shallow, and saucerlike, angle at the widest part of the chamber resulting in a rounded to carinate periphery; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous; aperture terminal, nearly covered by a broad apertural flap, leaving only a thin crescentic opening.
