Helianthus giganteus (Giant Sunflower) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and North America. Flowers are visited by Atalopedes huron, German Wasp, Halictus ligatus, and Andrena aliciae.
