Acanthastrea pachysepta is a species of cnidarians in the family Lobophylliidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Acanthastrea pachysepta form shallow marine sediments. Acanthastrea pachysepta form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have no parental care. They are sessile animals.
