Nitzschia longissima is a species of diatoms in the family Bacillariaceae. They are native to Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio Grande Do Norte, Maranhao, SãO Paulo, and Rio Grande Do Sul. Dead Nitzschia longissima form siliceous oozes.
