Bunchosia lanieri S. Wats. Proc. Am. Acad. 21 : 461. 1885 Leaf-blades elliptic to oblong-ovate or elliptic-lanceolate, 10-1S cm. long, mostly obtuse, dark-green above, closely silky-canescent beneath, obtuse or rounded at the base, short-petioled; pedicels pubescent; sepals ovate to deltoid-ovate, 3-4 mm. long, the glands about one half the length of the sepal-body ; petals not seen ; ovary and style pubescent ; drupes mostly 2-lobed, about 15 mm. in diameter, red.
Type locality: On the Camino Real near Yzabal, Guatemala. Distribution : Known only from the type locality.
