Tephrosia virginiana (Virginia Tephrosia) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Eastern North America. Flowers are visited by Cupido comyntas, Pearl Crescent, Zodion obliquefasciatum, and Neaera robertsonii. Individuals can grow to 50.1 cm.
