Combretum fruticosum is a species of shrub in the family Combretaceae. They are climbers. They are native to Amazônia, Paraná, Alagoas, Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), Piauí, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amapá, ParaíBa, SãO Paulo, Espirito Santo, Tocantins, Pará, Mato Grosso, RondôNia, Roraima, Caatinga, Mata Atlântica, GoiáS, Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Acre (Brazil), Cerrado, Pernambuco, Bahia, Sergipe, Ceará, and Santa Catarina. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Julia Heliconian, Red-legged Honeycreeper, Bananaquit, and Olive-green Tanager.
