Persicaria lapathifolia (Dock Leaf Smartweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Myzinum maculatum, Tharsalea hyllus, Andrena flavipes, and hedge brown. Individuals can grow to 0.54 m.
