Barbula indica (Barbula Moss) is a species of woody plants in the family Pottiaceae. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Sergipe, Mata Atlântica, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Amazônia, Distrito Federal, Rio De Janeiro, Pará, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, GoiáS, Pernambuco, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mato Grosso, and Pantanal.
