Vaccinium vitis-idaea (Lingonberry) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Alaska, United States, Greenland, The Contiguous United States, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Phaonia consobrina, Bombus monticola, Lasioglossum fratellum, and Banded Meliscaeva. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
