Leaves ascending-appressed, 2–10(–15) mm, gradually reduced distally. Heads 10–20, borne singly in leaf axils, sessile or subsessile. Disc corollas 2.3–2.8 mm. Cypselae 0.9–1.7 mm; pappi equaling corollas, erose, apiculate. 2n = 10.
