Test relatively large, to 2 mm, apertural view rhombic, keeled, with massive central pillar, septa form- ing sickle-shaped curves, pore grooves small, separated in a very regular fashion by septal bridges. Distribution: Numerous localities, widely distributed from the older Neogene to Recent.
