Perennial ; flowering stems 3 dm. high or less, very leafy. I^eaves ovatespatulate, 3-4 cm. long, 1-1.5 cm. wide, rounded at apex, cuneate at base, glabrous throughout; flowers cymose-paniculate, short-pedicelled ; sepals linear, shorter than the yellow (?) corolla ; scales described as broad.
Type locality : Orizaba, Mexico. Distribution : State of Vera Cruz, Mexico.
