Uredinia hypophyllous, scattered uneveniy and often thickiy, 0.25-0.5 mm. across, early naked, yellowish fading to white, ruptured epidermis somewhat noticeable ; urediniospores ellipsoid to globoid, more or less angular, 18-23 by 26-35/*; wall rather thin, 1.5-2/*, finely verrucose.
