Leaves sometimes conduplicate, linear or elliptic to oblanceolate and 10–45 mm long; margins are entire or lobed in upper half. Heads are 5.5–7 mm long; Ray florets are female, 1–3-seriate and bluish purple; disc florets are tubular, bisexual and yellow.
