Idiopappus is a monotypic genus of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. Its only species is Idiopappus saloyensis, endemic to Ecuador.[3] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland. It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]
