Acipenser brevirostrum (Shortnose Sturgeon) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family sturgeons. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN, as of special concern by COSEWIC, and in cites appendix i. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 143 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
