It is a herb, glabrous and viscid. Stems with bands of sessile glands on the internodes. Leaves are narrowly ovate to ovate-oblong and acuminate. Flowers in lax dichasial cymes. Pedicel is 1-1.5 cm, capillary; calyx is 2-2.5 mm, campanulate; teeth 1-1.5 mm and ovate. Petals are 2-3 times as long as the calyx which are white to pale pink. Capsule is 3 mm, and subspherical. Seeds are 1.2 mm, tuberculate.
