Heuchera tenuifolia (Wheelock) Rydb
Heuchera cylindrica tenuifolia Wheelock, Bull. Torrey Club 17 : 204. 1890.
Acaulescent ; flowering branches scapiform, 4-6 dm. high, glabrous or minutely glandular-puberulent ; petioles 5-15 cm. long, glabrous or minutely glandular-puberulent; leafblades reniform or rounded, deeply cordate at the base, thin, glabrous, round-lobed and crenate, with rounded or ovate, ciliate and bristletipped teeth ; hypanthium deeply campanulate, greenish, glandular-puberulent, together with the oblong obtuse sepals about 6 mm. long; petals oblanceolate, ^-% as long as the sepals.
Type locality : Near the Dalles, Oregon.
Distribution : Hillsides of Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
