Coscinodiscus jonesianus is a species of diatoms in the family Coscinodiscaceae. They are native to Bahia, Espirito Santo, Amazônia, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pernambuco, Pará, Maranhao, Paraná, ParaíBa, and Santa Catarina. Dead Coscinodiscus jonesianus form siliceous oozes.
