Description

Unarmed shrub or small tree. Bark grey, smooth; young branches green. Leaves opposite, elliptic, usually c. 3 -9 cm, dark glossy green above, paler and dull green below, thickly textured; margin entire. Flowers in branched axillary heads, white or creamy-green, c. 3 mm in diameter. Fruit elongate, c. 8 mm, ridged along the length, purple-black when ripe.
