Triceratella drummondii Brenan

drummondii: named after R. B. 'Bob' Drummond (1924-2008 ), former Keeper of the National Herbarium in Harare (SRGH), who collected the type specimen.

Small annual herb, 3-13 cm with all parts more or less covered in glandular hairs. Leaves linear, up to 3-12 cm long and 1-2.5 mm wide, glandular hairy. Flowers with long, linear-lanceolate sepals, up to 19 mm, pointed, glandular hairy. Petals shorter than sepals, yellow, oblanceolate-oblong. Fruit a grey-brown oblong capsule, dehiscent.
