Christella quadrangularis (Rough Hairy Waterfall Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Thelypteridaceae. They are native to Amazônia, Piauí, ParaíBa, Ceará, Pernambuco, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mato Grosso, Paraná, Pará, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, GoiáS, Acre (Brazil), Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Maranhao, The Contiguous United States, Bahia, Puerto Rico, Santa Catarina, RondôNia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Amapá, Alagoas, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. They have alternation of generations.
