I was testing a walk in the Bygrave and Wallington area of Hertfordshire, when a woman pulled over in her car to chat. Two things she said were of interest. One was that this moth species is destroying the avenue of trees along the track, and the other was that most of the walkers she sees in the area are usually naked, so she was actually surprised we were fully clothed. 5 July 2014.
