provided by INOTAXA archive
Antennæ with moderately long club, each joint of which is narrowed to the base, the terminal two joints darker than the ninth, which is yellow. Rostrum minute, densely rugose. Eyes rather large, distant from the neck, the space between them excessively densely and coarsely punctured. Thorax slender, longer than broad, excessively densely and coarsely punctured. Elytra very deeply striate, the striæ densely and coarsely punctured. Legs yellow, vaguely marked with fuscous. The only specimen known has the middle tibiæ acuminate at the apex internally, and is probably a male.

A very peculiar insect whose genus is somewhat doubtful, but at present it cannot be placed elsewhere than in Eugnamptus.
