Parvus, testaceus, setosus, elytris ad basin et ultra medium nigro-signatis; antennis fuscis, articulo ultimo flavo; elytris seriatim punctatis, interstitiis subconvexis, minus latis.
 
Long. cum rostro 3¼ millim.

Physical description

Rostrum very short, not so long as the head, the latter short, with extremely large eyes. Antennæ moderately long, the terminal joint yellow, much shorter than the tenth. Thorax very slender, sparingly and coarsely but very lightly punctate. Elytra with a black mark at the base close to the scutellum, and a lateral mark on the outer margin, these two connected by a slender black line along the extreme base; there is also a small black spot just behind the middle of each; the serial punctures are very regular, deep, and rather closely placed.
 
One specimen; probably of the male sex.
