Heliotropium elongatum is a species of shrub in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Caatinga, Pernambuco, ParaíBa, Piauí, Rio Grande Do Norte, Rio De Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Amazônia, Mata Atlântica, Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pantanal, Paraná, Alagoas, Ceará, Tocantins, Sergipe, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Distrito Federal, Cerrado, Mato Grosso Do Sul, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Pará, and Pampa. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Individuals can grow to 0.9 m.
