Phlomis purpurea (Purple Jerusalem Sage) is a species of shrub in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Xylocopa cantabrita and Anna's Hummingbird. Individuals can grow to 0.8 m.
