Ocotea cernua is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mato Grosso, Pará, Amazônia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Cerrado, Amapá, Mata Atlântica, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Ceará, and Espirito Santo. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
