Soft shrubby perennial, usually less than 2 m. Most parts covered in soft, sticky hairs, not irritant. Leaves shallowly 3-7-lobed, rounded, unpleasantly aromatic when crushed. Flowers pale pink in small axillary clusters.

Frequent

Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland and South Africa as far as Eastern Cape. Also in Réunion and introduced in Madagascar.
