Cracca rusbyi Rydberg, sp. nov
A perennial herb, suffruticose below; stem 5 dm. high or more, sparingly strigose, angled, slender; leaves 10M5 cm. long; stipules sulcate-setaceous, 8-10 mm. long; petiole 1-2 cm. long; rachis strigose; leaflets 9-1 1, narrowly linear, tapering at each end, 3-7 cm. long, 1.5-3 mm. wide, strigose below, glabrate above; racemes lax, including the peduncle 3-3.5 dm. long; flowers 1-3 at each node; bractlets subulate, 5-8 mm. long; calyx loosely strigose, the tube 2 mm. long, the lobes subulate, 3-4 mm. long; corolla red-puiple, 8-9 mm. long; young pod strigose, 7-9-seedcd; mature pod unknown.
