Mosquitoxylum is a monotypic genus of trees in the subfamily Anacardioideae of the cashew and sumac family Anacardiaceae. It contains the single species Mosquitoxylum jamaicense, which grows naturally from southern Mexico to Ecuador and also in Jamaica.[3]
