Description: English: Solanum sibundoyense tree growing in the Meadows residual Cyphomandra clade collection, Helensville, New Zealand in December 2012. The tree is not well adapted outside the cloud forests of Colombia. Die-back of last seasons branches is obvious, but new growth has started at the top of the tree. Fruit have set on this tree, but as it is self-infertile, the fruit will not reach normal size, and will probably be seedless. Date: 7 December 2012.
