Penstemon spectabilis (Penstemon) is a species of perennial herb in the family Plantaginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Pseudomasaris vespoides, Diadasia bituberculata, Acmaeodera connexa, and Anna's Hummingbird. Individuals can grow to 0.4 m.
