They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Black and Gold Bumble bee, Snowberry Clearwing, and Hummingbird Clearwing. Individuals can grow to 0.65 m.
