Description

Slender tufted annual grass, up to 40 cm tall. Stems erect or ascending. Leaves and stems eglandular. Inflorescence a panicle, dense and spike-like, 2-10cm long. Spikelets linear, sessile in cuneate clusters, flushed purple.
